Write Your Own Review By Clicking Here! Product: Website: Brief Description:
Review: To be able to sell your product, people need to know that you exist, that you have a product to sell, and that the product will satisfy a need or desire that they have. So, you need to tell them. You need to advertise in other words. Advertising can often be a very expensive operation. But, it doesn't have to be! In fact, the best and most effective form of advertising is, in fact absolutely, totally free! What is this wonderful free marketing device? It's called word-of-mouth advertising! That is, friend 'A' tells friend 'B' who in turn, tells friend 'C' who is so excited about the product that they cannot help but tell friend 'D', and so on. It costs nothing to the business that marketed the product in the first place and has the added (massive) advantage that every 'pass-along' is a recommendation from a trusted source. Such word-of-mouth advertising is the basis of an internet marketing technique called 'viral marketing', probably originally pioneered by Microsoft's hotmail.com email program back in the late 1990's. Is viral marketing effective, and is it something that you should be doing right now? Absolutely it is, no question or doubt about it! Take a quick look at the hotmail.com example, and you'll very quickly see why. Hotmail.com was the first site to give away free email accounts. It very quickly became popular -it was free, after all - and everyone who registered a hotmail account told their friends to do the same. No use being able to send email if you have no one to send it to right? In this way, hotmail pulled in 12 million new subscribers from a total advertising spend of less that US$500,000, in under 18 months. That's a huge number of new potential Microsoft customers at less than US$0.04 each. Microsoft subsequently became one of the world's most powerful companies. With such a huge power-base of customers, it is not difficult to see why! So, viral marketing certainly works, as does using almost exactly the same techniques as hotmail did, nearly ten years ago. That is, give away something that carries a strong promotional message, something that then encourages the person who receives the viral 'gift' to take two actions. First, they should sign up for whatever your offer is (or, even better, buy your product). Second, they should give the free viral gift to other people, who will then do the same. One of the most effective methods of applying such viral tactics is by giving away free ebooks which are created in such a way that they are designed to become viral. That is where a program like ViralPDF comes into its own. Viral marketing is a process that encourages people to pass along the marketing message to other people; we have already established that fact. One way of doing this is to make the 'viral' message or product so fantastic that people feel that they have to pass it on (free email accounts when no such thing previously existed, for example). However, such a dynamite or 'never-seen-before' idea or product only comes along once in a blue moon. So, assuming that you don't have such an idea, how do you get people to pass the message along? Simple. You pay them to do so! You create a re-brandable promotional PDF with your marketing message inside that you then give away for free. You allow people who get hold of your book to pass it along to as many people as they want to, after adding their affiliate link inside the book. If any of those people then decides to visit your site and make a purchase, the affiliate gets a nice chunk of commission, and you have just made a sale. Now, think about that for one moment. You send the book to one person. They love it and send it out to their list of 10,000 people. Lots of people from the list visit your site but only 1% buys whatever it is that you are selling. The customer gets a great product, the affiliate gets a healthy commission check and you just made 100 sales by sending out only one copy of your promotional book! Now, there are a few viral PDF branding software programs out there in the market that will allow you to do all of this, but Sean Kelly's ViralPDF Reframed (Classic Version) is by far the best I have tested so far. It simply offers far more features and benefits than any other competing program. For example, as the program owner, ViralPDF allows you to insert an unlimited number of different re-brandable links in your documents, so that you have the opportunity of promoting as many programs or products as you want. You can market both your own products and related Clickbank affiliate products within the same PDF document. Most competing programs are extremely limited in this respect. You can 'brand' regular text using ViralPDF, so that a link that looks like this "Proudly presented by Joe Soap" would appear within the body text of the PDF document, with whatever words you chose being hyperlinked. You can time limit the PDF files with ViralPDF. If the affiliate does not 'brand' his copy within a certain period of time, he has to download the book again. This not only puts pressure on the affiliate to act now, rather than later (or, more likely, never) but it also ensures that the copy that he circulates is the latest up-to-date edition. ViralPDF is also remarkably easy to use, both for you and for the affiliates who will need to rebrand their own copy of your book. You have an extremely detailed ViralPDF user manual, so that you should have no difficulties whatsoever in converting your Word documents into re-brandable PDF files. Once that is done, you then create a great sales page for the rebrandable book. The potential affiliate sees the page, thinks that they can use the book in their own promotional efforts and downloads the book, plus the rebrander. They follow a few simple steps to insert their links into the book at the points where you dictate, and that's it, it's ready to go! They send the book out to their customers and mailing list subscribers, you make some sales (and a percentage of the commission) and so does the affiliate. But it does not just stop there. This is viral marketing, after all! Some of the people who receive the book from your affiliate may not buy anything, but they may well pass the book on to others, who also pass it on. Time and again, the same thing can happen, one person to the next. That is the true beauty of viral marketing. Even when someone decides that they do no need or want to buy your product, they can still be a huge help to your marketing efforts, possibly without ever knowing it! Conclusion: ViralPDF Rebrander is also the easiest program for affiliates to use as well, and this stands out for me as a critical point in its favor. It is all great that a software package is easy for me, as the program owner, to use. After all, I bought it, so I am bound to make some kind of effort to use it! However, many potential promoters and affiliates will, in my experience, probably download the re-brandable book from your site on a whim, as a 'heat-of-the-moment' decision, almost without thinking. They can see that the viral marketing theory is sound, and they want to try it, but that does not mean that their commitment levels are sky-high, or that they are willing to make great efforts to help you out. If they are then presented with a re-branding job that is difficult or complex, guess what? They'll put the whole project away into the 'do later' locker, and there it will stay for ever more! It is absolutely pointless having a re-brandable, viral product that no-one ever re-brands! ViralPDF Rebrander is the easiest of the small handful of programs in this market, and, for that one reason alone, it is a program that any marketer who understands the true value of going 'viral' should consider very seriously.
