Write Your Own Review By Clicking Here! Product: Website: Brief Description: Review: I tried it a couple of days ago with Google, and got 2.4 million matches, which just shows how incredibly popular the AdSense program is, and how many experts there are in the online business community. Maybe you already have such an AdSense guide, or perhaps several. If not, grab one or two of the free ones that are turned up by your search (you will generally have to opt-into someone's mailing list, but that's the price you pay for freebies) and have a read. Grab ten if you want. The number is almost irrelevant, because however many you get or already have, you will find that 99% of them are remarkably similar to one another. Whether it is an ebook or series of them, videos or MP3 audios, again it doesn't seem to matter, they are tell pretty much the same story, albeit with a tweak here or a minor adjustment there. Basically, the story will be, create a webpage, publish it, get you AdSense account, put the adverts on your pages, get visitors, make money, the end. Sure, some of the tweaks and adjustments are interesting and useful, so not all of the AdSense books and manuals are necessarily a waste of time. For example, while it is totally against Google's Terms of Service to invite people to click on your AdSense ad, some marketers have come up with some incredibly inventive ways of almost doing just that, without, it seems, actually breaching the TOS's. Bending the rules, maybe, but not apparently breaking them. But, in general, they are all pretty much the same. They all show how one person - the product creator - recommends that you make money with AdSense, how much of an expert they are, and how you can achieve the same as them, usually accompanied by screen shots showing how much they earn (which is obviously a lot, otherwise they wouldn't be publishing the thing). Frankly, after a while, all of these AdSense guides become a little bit repetitive and boring. You know what you are going to read or see before you open the first page of the ebook or fire up your streaming video and very rarely does anything come along that changes that impression. So, thank heaven for Uncommon AdSense. Never have I seen a product that is more appropriately titled. It really IS uncommon, in that it takes an approach to AdSense that I have not come across before, which is therefore refreshing. Uncommon AdSense is an AdSense manual for those who already have some experience using AdSense. People who probably already have websites and are making a little bit of money. People who are not absolute beginners or newcomers to the AdSense arena, in other words. The author of the book, Eric Gigučre, has been an AdSense publisher since 2003, which makes him almost a veteran, and he was the publisher of the first printed AdSense book, called 'Make Easy Money with Google: Using the AdSense Advertising Program.' To coin a phrase, Eric knows his stuff, and Uncommon AdSense shows that very clearly. I do not think that I have ever seen a book that goes into so much depth when dealing with AdSense. While I have already said that most manuals are relatively lightweight, this book is most definitely not so. I would go as far as to say that this book is something akin to the Encyclopedia Britannica of the AdSense world, a must have reference work for any serious AdSense practitioner. That's not to say that this book has nothing to do with sales or making money. In fact, that is 100% the overriding purpose of the book - to demonstrate and explain many, many things that you can do that will increase your AdSense earnings. It's just that it does so in a far smarter and more advanced way than I have seen in any other book. For example, one of the banes of many an AdSense publisher's life are mistargeted AdSense ads, especially when you add the first AdSense ad 'blocks' to your site. That is, your site or blog is about dogs, but Google initially send ads about internet marketing or keeping Japanese koi to your site. There is probably not a single AdSense publisher on planet earth who has not had this happen at one time or another and the fact is that this will lose clicks and money that your site should be earning. My interest is dogs, so I am very unlikely to click on anything about IM or fish whereas, if the AdSense block had been carrying ads for German Shepherds or Pomeranians, then there would have been a good chance of drawing a click. I have seen other books that make suggestions about how to solve this problem, but they are almost always 'try this, it might work' solutions. Eric shows a couple of very specific, detailed tactics that you can and should use, to avoid this happening. Not guesses or 'could work' solutions. These are detailed, specific will work answers to the problem. He explains in detail how using the correct format of query parameters will assist you to make sure that the adverts that Google sends are what you want your site visitors to see, in other words, ads that can make you money. Another thing that I like is that Eric is obviously a guy who has spent many, many hours himself, tweaking and adjusting his own AdSense sites to make sure that they are maximizing their earnings potential. Sometimes this even includes playing with the Javascript code that is generated by the AdSense system, that you then copy and paste onto your site. As someone who is not particularly familiar with Javascript , I would quite happily admit that this would be completely beyond me. Eric clearly understands this and explains every concept in great depth before including the actual code that you simply need to copy and paste, in order to turn that concept into reality. Uncommon AdSense is about terrific ideas, but is also extremely practical. This is a handbook for anyone who really, really wants to get to know and understand the real heartbeat of the AdSense system, on the basis that, the more you really understand what makes the program tick, the more money you can make from it. That's not to say that anyone can honestly say that everything in the book is going to work perfectly, straight out of the box, every time. The algorithms behind AdSense are a secret understood by only a very small handful of Google insiders, and they are changing constantly, so no manual of this type can ever hope to be 100% up-to-date and perfect. Having said that, once you get hold of your copy of the book, you will receive pretty regular updates, so 'Uncommon AdSense' will change as the AdSense program itself does the same. Conclusion: If you really want to know what makes your AdSense account tick and how you get the best results, then this manual is something that you cannot be without. It is the only real nuts and bolts workshop manual that I have read for AdSense, and without it, I would very much doubt that you will ever be able to get maximum performance from your AdSense efforts. Without Uncommon AdSense you will never be able to earn the money that you should from your AdSense enabled website, and for that reason alone, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone using AdSense to make money.
