Sometimes there comes along a product or idea that is just so super red-hot that you have no choice but to get in there as quickly as possible if you want your slice of the action.
Some, if not most such ideas power onto the scene like a supercharged racing car and disappear over the far horizon just as quickly.
A few, a very small number, arrive, and you know that they are here to stay. Using videos as a sales tool is one such 'stayer'.
It is no exaggeration to say that the marketing potential of using video to promote your business is almost totally limitless.
Why else would Google have paid $1.65 billion dollars for a company like YouTube, who had never turned a penny of profit, if it wasn't for the potential that the big G could see in the video market?
Excep, there is one factor limiting the effectiveness of video in your business.
That is you! How do I know? Because I am exactly the same!!
Do you have the expertise to put together a video that potential customers might want to watch? A video that is then good enough to force those video viewers to visit your site and buy your product?
How long do you think that it might take to create such a video? Days perhaps, even weeks maybe?
Do you have that amount of 'spare' time on your hands?
Even if you do, wouldn't that time be better spent actually making money for the here and now, rather than messing around with lighting and camera angles, trying to 'create' something that might turn out to be a pile of c**p that not one person ever watches?
I only ask these questions because I know that these questions are the exact reasons I have myself that videos are great, but they are not for me.
Sure, if I had lots of people working for me who I could rely on to come up with a stunningly original video idea, then it might work.
Even better if I could then ask all these folks to get together and write some kind of 'script' for the video. Oh, and if they could 'act' in it, direct it, record a great soundtrack, edit the video and finally get it out there to the market, well, all of those things would be tremendous too!
But, I don't have a staff, and, even if I did, I would sure as eggs is eggs have them doing something far more productive things than playing with a video camera!
Bottom line is that, so far, I've read every email I've ever received from anyone that tells me that 'anyone can make a video' and gone, 'yeah, sure they can...but NOT a video that anyone would want to watch'.
Maybe I'm picky, but just because a video exists does not necessarily mean that I actually want to watch it! If it's garbage, it's garbage, and there is no getting around that.
This does not mean that I am either blind or totally stupid (a little bit, certainly, but not totally!)
I can see what is happening in the online marketing universe.
I understand that some people are doing very well and are making an awful lot of money through video marketing. I know that such videos are becoming a very important integral part of the whole marketing picture.
Do I want a chunk of that cash? Of course I do!
But the bottom line is that I want to use videos, I absolutely do not want to have to waste a significant slice of my time and effort making them!
Another thing about every online marketing video I have seen so far. The idea behind every one has been, get the potential customer to vie the video, send them to your sales page and pocket the cash.
Note that - your sales page.
If you are generating any of your income from affiliate sales like I am, you probably realized already that videos so far have not been much use to you, because you cannot embed an affiliate link in a video!
Sure, you can ask the viewer to visit a page on your site that redirects them to your affiliate sales page, but it's not a particularly focused way of doing things.
There has been no way to actually send them to your affiliate pages directly from the video...until now!

Even if you are smart enough to be one of those folks who have made their own videos, this will work for you too! Just set the software to send the viewer to your sales page when the video ends, automatically.
And then there's Vlog & Zing! Ever heard of these before?
I doubt it, as the guys claim that they invented it on the site!
Vlog, yes, maybe you've heard of that - it's basically the same as a blog, except it uses videos, rather than written text, to get the message across.
But, I admit that I had never heard of zing, and I'm guessing that you won't have either. But, again I'm guessing, I think that you will become much more aware of it soon, so, here's your chance to be ahead of the crowd!
Zing is a fabulous new technology that takes audio and video and translates it into text, so that it can then be indexed by the search engines!
As you would expect when Google and Yahoo search spiders begin to 'see' the content of videos and audio recordings for the very first time, this brand new technology is already generating significant free traffic for those websites that are using it.
Most affiliate marketers I know are using Pay-Per-Click advertising to get visitors to their site. How about showing those visitors super hot video presentations of the product, rather than same-as, same-as (boring?) sales pages.
Wouldn't that increase your sales conversions?
If so, you have just made your PPC campaign (that is, money that you are probably already spending anyway) an awful lot more profitable.

I want to make money from videos because I know that there is fantastic money to be made. I don't want to make videos, I want to make money!
I don’t want to make products. I want to make money from other people make products.
Does that not sound like a sensible way of running a business that can make a ton of money? Minimizing your efforts in the areas of your business that are not financially productive, so that you can concentrate on those that are?
Given that there are possibly thousands of other affiliates out there, just like you, selling exactly the same product as you, don’t you think that using professionally produced videos might give you a vital cutting edge on all those 'sales page' guys?
Yes, I thought so. That’s exactly what I thought about my own affiliate marketing efforts too, hence me getting my hands on Affiliate Video Brander as quickly as I could.
